1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Locked

We are already nearing the end of the first quarter of this school year, but it feels like the start of this quarter was just a week ago. Time really does fly so fast. A lot has happened during the time period of this quarter, and I can proudly say that I was able to follow up with the happenings that took place in this quarter. It is just the beginning yet I have learned a lot already. I got to know more about the internet’s history, internet parts, blogging, parts of a blog, web browsers and its parts, search engines, internet access, and data rate units. For me, I learned and enjoyed a lot our blogging lesson, it is a top-tier lesson for me. I learned how to create my blogs and post them on my blog site. I got to express my feelings and opinions in a blog and write educational articles in this lesson. At first, I thought it was going to be difficult because I thought we needed to know how to code or things related to that. But to my surprise, it is the complete opposite of what I thought! It is so easy to do and very engaging too.

Of course, problems and obstacles will also arise. I did encounter a lot, but not too many problems in this quarter. The first one is in blogging, the blog site has a lot of glitches. A very common example of this glitch is when I try to move a picture, it refuses to move to the desired area and messes up the whole article which is very annoying. The second problem is in regards to our modules, particularly weeks 7 and 8. The numbering for the summative tests is confusing, some numbers would be doubled up which would ruin the numbering for the succeeding items. But I do understand it since our teacher has been very busy over the past few days. How did I address these problems? My solution is very simple actually, I tried to figure out how to solve these problems and find a perfect solution to them. Experience was also one of my solutions in addressing these problems. Resourcefulness and experience is the key in working out these problems.

Moving on, I will use the knowledge I gained from this quarter to achieve more things in the succeeding quarters or even the following years of my life. Working and learning more about the internet and blogging contributed a lot in polishing and honing my creativity and mind. Being a student blogger, blogging has helped me to appreciate the value of experiences and to get much closer and friendlier with the people I know. Blogging has also been my own diary because I get to express my opinions and feelings here. We are lucky enough to have this as a part of our schoolwork. Overall, this quarter is informative and engaging. I learned and enjoyed a lot in this quarter. I am eagerly looking forward to what the following quarters will offer to us!
